EASEE-gas updates CBP on Constraints
(BRUSSELS, 26 November 2018) EASEE-gas, the European Association for the Streamlining of Energy Exchange – gas, released today an updated version of a Common Business Practice (CBP) initially published in 2005:
CBP 2005-003/02 Constraints
Developed by the EASEE-gas Business Process Working Group, this CBP describes the operational procedures to be applied when constraints arise due to restrictions in transmission capacity as a result of off-specification gas properties, planned maintenance or any other reasons not foreseeable.
This CBP was originally published in 2005 and has been revised to reflect the evolution of the gas system in Europe which has quickly evolved in the past years, especially due to the Network Codes published by ENTSOG. It also aligns its terminology with the most recent version of the Harmonisation Gas Role Model document that will soon be available as a CBP too.
The CBP 2005-003/02 Constraints is available on the EASEE-gas website in the CBP section.
