The Message Workflow Design Working Group of EASEE-gas releases today a new version of Edig@s, the electronic message format for the gas market.
EASEE-gas publishes today its quality specification recommendation for industrial grade hydrogen running through repurposed natural gas pipelines or new dedicated systems. The Common Business Practice (CBP), which will be revisited in 3-years’ time or earlier if appropriate, recommends a hydrogen concentration equal or higher than 98 mol-%.
Jarle Rønnevik (Equinor), chair of the Message and Workflow Design Working Group (MWDWG) since 2014, has decided to step down from his role. He passes the torch to Oliver Schirok from VNG Handel & Vertrieb GmbH.
The primary objective of the group is to facilitate the development of innovative and cost-effective ways to handle gas quality in fluctuating blends as well as pure hydrogen grids in our future gas systems. The group is co-chaired by Peter van Wesenbeeck (EASEE-gas) and Ruggero Bimbatti (GD4S).
The EASEE-gas Board of Directors elected Michael Sostmann from Open Grid Europe as its new Chair. He succeeds Peter Meeuwis from GasTerra who had been chair of the Executive Committee since 2011, served as a member of the Board of Directors since 2013 and as EASEE-gas Chair since 2019.
